“My beautiful nerd!” That’s what he whispered when he was done mauling me and the night my new moniker was born.
“What the heck got into you?” As if I didn’t know. He’s so easy if a messy bun and a pair of glasses can turn him into a raging lunatic in bed. Not that he needed any help there, but that night I decided that I was going to bed looking like that from now on. Eat that, Lisa!
After that night, she never came up in conversation, and though I was dying to see what she looked like, I controlled myself enough not to go looking for any pics of her online or anywhere else. Apparently, she’d also been bitten by the curiosity bug but wasn’t as successful as I at ignoring it.
I can’t say I wasn’t expecting the meet to some degree. Only something as dense as a male would actually think and believe that some woman was riding his schlong for two years without expectations of something more in the making. So I wasn’t too surprised when she approached me a few days later.
At first, I had no idea who she was, of course. I’d decided to go shopping for something sexy to dazzle Jared with in bed though I was pretty sure it wouldn’t last two minutes, and was very excited about my little adventure since I’d never done anything remotely like this before.
I’d already called my warden to let him know that I’d be a little late getting to his place, so he didn’t call out the National Guard, but Michele, who was the one to talk me into this little shopping trip, couldn’t come with because something came up.
She didn’t know who I was dating and didn’t care, as long as I was safe. It wasn’t Jared’s doing, keeping his identity a secret but mine. I didn’t want to let the cat out of the bag until I’d taken him home to meet my parents and dealt with Tessa once and for all. He didn’t like it for some reason, which I found odd because I don’t recall ever seeing his name linked with anyone in the press, not even this Lisa person.
Anyway, I was minding my business combing through the shelves of this very expensive lingerie store that’s been around long before anybody had any secrets when I felt someone come up behind me. Since social distancing had become a thing, this person was way too close, not to mention my own personal measuring stick would’ve been broken by now since I tend to like lots of space between me and the rest of the idiot population.
I knew it wasn’t Jared because my body sounds the alarm whenever he’s near, and my panties were still dry. I looked up, ready to tell whoever it was to get bent, and collided with a pair of beautiful light blue eyes beneath a waterfall of mink brown hair that flowed straight to her shoulders.
I looked at her questioningly, not quite understanding the hostility in her eyes until her words clued me in. “I thought you were something special, but you’re little more than a child. Have you fucked Jared yet? I doubt someone like you could even handle him. I’m even more sure now that he’d soon be coming back to me.”
She looked me up and down like I was a bug or maybe a turd under her designer shoe. I was tickled pink, my first girl fight over a boy. I rubbed my hands together with glee, in my mind, of course. I don’t want her to know yet that she’d picked the wrong one. I might let Jared see my jealousy, but I’ll be damned if I’m letting it hang out for his sidepiece to slaver over.
Samantha
The words, though muffled by the cloth over her lips, rang through loud and clear. I couldn’t see all of her face, of course, but the body was nothing short of perfect, and she had the nerve to be at least eight or nine inches taller than me; giraffe! Since she seemed to be looking down on me both literally and figuratively speaking, I got my back up.
Now I’ve never been in this situation before, but after dealing with the fallout from my brother’s mistake and seeing how the one responsible for that is another one of Jared’s castoffs, I decided to deal with her the way I’d deal with Tessa.
“Oh, so you’re Lisa, not bad.” I nodded my head as I looked her up and down, then turned back to my shopping.
“You’re wasting your time if that’s for Jared. He doesn’t like trashy women or the stuff they put on to entice a man, and besides, if you have to work this hard so early in your acquaintance, you’re obviously not doing something right.” Since I wasn’t looking at her, I had to gauge the smugness from her tone.
