“I’m going with you,” Dragon says, falling in step behind me.
“Si, me too. Mi Cielo has some explaining to do.”
I hear all the men walking with me, but I don’t give a fuck. I just need to get to Kayden.
“This is all your fault,” I mumble, to Dragon.
“How in the hell do you figure that?” he snarls as we reach our bikes.
“Because if not for you, I would have fucked Kayden so damn hard that she couldn’t have moved, let alone go to this damn party tonight,” I tell him, straddling Betty and leaning to push the stand up.
“You’re just bound and determined to give me a reason to kill you, Motherfucker,” Dragon declares with a scowl, bringing his bike to life with a roar.
I do the same and I squeal out in the lead.
I’m off to claim my woman and remind her I have the only dick she ever needs.46Kayden“You did not just do that,” Keanna, yells.
“Do what?” I ask, trying to sound innocent, but pretty sure I fail. Mostly, because I’m not. I’m pissed off at Chains. If telling him about Keanna’s stripper party gets me laid, then I’m down. If Chains thinks it’s cool to withhold dick from me, the bastard better think again. I am not going into a marriage with a man who thinks it’s cool not to see to his woman.
“Don’t you do what to me, Kay-Kay. You told Chains what we were doing and you did that shit on purpose.”
“They’ll be here soon,” Mom laughs.
“Oh yeah, they will. It’s like my party all over again,” Aunt Carrie laughs.
“How long do you think we have before they get here?” Aunt Katie asks.
“It’s a toss-up to who will be more upset, but I know my man. He will be here in about ten minutes at the most,” Aunt Beth responds, looking really calm as she takes a drink of her wine.
“Carrie, you and Skye better get ready to pay me that fifty you owe me,” Mom laughs.
“Bitch, I can’t believe you,” Keanna mutters.
“Hold up! What did you bet money on?” Aunt Katie asks Mom. I have to admit, I’m interested myself.
“Yeah, Mom, why do Aunt Carrie and Skye owe you money?” I ask, looking at the three women in question.
“I said you would get Chains to cave before the wedding. They said there was no way he’d go against Dragon. Obviously, I win,” she says with a shrug.
“You seriously bet on whether I’d have sex with Chains before my wedding night?”
“We bet on all kinds of things, don’t feel bad,” Skye says, patting my shoulder. “Hell, last week we bet on if Nailer’s test was going to come back positive for the Clap.”
“You did not!” Katie cackles.
“Dude, trust me,” Skye says, “With these men it happens. They hate wearing rubbers,” she mutters and you can tell she’s really not happy about that fact. It must be because she’s a doctor or something—or maybe because Bull keeps knocking her up.
“Amen to that,” Katie says. “I say let the guys show up. That poor man up on stage sure don’t have much to be dancing about. My Hunter could put him to shame,” she mutters.
“Um…. I don’t want to see Uncle Torch stripping on the stage,” I tell her, because I really don’t. That might put an end to me ever wanting sex again.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing some of that action. That man is fine,” Keanna says.
“Oh yeah, me too, I always did like older men,” Jazz adds.
“Jesus, if I knew how much trouble having a child was, I would have cut off Jacob’s dick,” Carrie mutters.
“Ew, gross Mom. You aren’t supposed to talk about Dad having one of those in front of me. It will make me never want to have sex,” Jazz complains.
“Last week, while you were staying with Gabby? We did it in your bed,” Carrie says.
“Oh my God!” Jazz screeches.
“That’s exactly what I screamed when your father dropped down on his knees and got to work, Dear,” Carrie says, so sweetly and calm that you’d think she was discussing the weather.
“I hate you,” Jazz yells over all of the laughter, as she stomps out.
“I can’t believe you told her that,” Katie laughs.
“That girl is going to be the death of Jacob and me. Hawk is my good child. He never gives me grief. But, Jazz? Good Lord, that girl makes me want to choke her most of the time,” Carrie sighs.
“Will she come back?” Gabby asks, looking in the direction that Jazz just left.
“She has to. She rode over here with me because her license has been revoked,” Carrie responds with a sigh.
“Why was her license revoked?”
“She had fifty-six unpaid tickets.”
“Holy fuck! How does that even happen?” Keanna cries.
“She was upset at the officer who wrote her a parking ticket. So, she proceeded to park there every day for two months just to piss him off,” Carrie sighs. “She didn’t pay them, instead she threw them away. They arrested her and Jacob refused to bail her out. The judge sentenced her to community service and revoked her license for a year.”
