Shaking her head in bemusement, Paige slipped on the fuck-me shoes and stood, the inflatable butt plug shifting inside her a reminder of what might happen after the reception today. She’d only inflated the toy enough for a snug fit. The drive to the church in Miami would take almost forty minutes, and sitting on the plug that long would be enough of a distraction without having it stretching her to the point of discomfort, and arousal. The panties were a perfect fit, which somehow didn’t surprise her. Determined to take Penny’s advice, she vowed not to fret about where she’d be with the brothers come tomorrow, and go with the flow today.
Who didn’t like weddings? she thought as the doorbell pealed and set her heart to racing with expectation.
Chapter 14
At least they let me sit in peace during the ceremony. Paige squirmed in her seat at the reception table, her face flushing from the panty vibrations Trevor had just flicked on. As if being seated between both him and Troy during their friends’ Jackson and Julie’s wedding and now at the reception wasn’t distracting enough. At least their group of close friends didn’t act surprised to see the brothers sharing a date. Sandie and her husband, Zach, were the only other people she knew at the large table, but the best man’s wife, Hope, had greeted her with genuine pleasure. After pointing out her husband seated with the bridal party, Paige wondered how the soft-spoken woman handled the scarred, tough-looking martial arts instructor.
Seeing the dressy choker adorning the doctor’s wife, Krista’s neck had thrown Paige for a loop for a few seconds, since she knew the jewelry signified a stricter Dom/sub relationship than the brothers had introduced her to, but it hadn’t taken long for the couple’s friendly mien to set her back at ease. She knew there was a significant amount of her sister’s lifestyle Paige remained clueless about, but didn’t mind admitting she was now more open to exploring the possibilities than she’d been before Penny’s attack. All because of Troy and Trevor.
Paige shifted on the padded seat again and slid Trevor a sidelong glare, knowing it would do no good. “Can’t this wait?” she whispered, praying the others didn’t notice her sudden agitation.
“Nope,” he whispered back without an ounce of pity.
Determined to ignore him and Troy, who smirked without looking her way, she leaned over to speak to Hope. “I hear congratulations are in order for you as well. Where did you elope to?”
Hope’s blue eyes shone with happiness. “Where else? Vegas. But Miles chose a nice chapel and went out of his way to fill it with flowers. It was a lot of fun.”
“We wouldn’t know since you neglected to invite us,” Sandie groused, sending her friend a disgruntled look. “That wasn’t very nice.”
“And here we all thought Jackson would be the one to opt for a quiet ceremony away from everyone.” Sean, a black-haired psychologist and the last of the Carlsons’ friends they’d introduced Paige to, shifted his silver gaze to Paige before explaining, “He much prefers his animals and Julie to people. We consider ourselves lucky Jackson is agreeable to hanging around us.”
“I pet-sit in my home, and agree there are times I prefer my four-legged friends to anyone else,” Paige returned with a smile. The tall veterinarian looked enamored of his gorgeous wife, and she thought it said something he’d been willing to put on this big splash for their wedding to appease her parents whom, from what Paige had learned, he wasn’t fond of.
“Sean just gave me a cuddly Maltese mix from Jackson’s rescue, and she’s a big comfort when Sean’s being a bully.”
Alessa and Sean’s relationship may be new, but from the look the two shared, the couple might be the next to announce plans to join their friends in wedded bliss. That would leave Troy and Trevor the last among the gang of seven uncommitted. Paige shoved aside the stab of pain at the thought of them moving on without her.
“I’m surrounded by strangers every day and love it,” Hope said. “If I’d been isolated on the yacht for four days with just Zach for company, I would’ve gone bonkers. I still don’t know how you stood it, Sandie.”
Zach scowled at Hope. “Hey, I resent that.”
Sandie just laughed and shook her head. “No, you don’t.”
The mischievous smile Hope gave her best friend hinted at something Paige didn’t know about and a curl of envy over this group’s close ties settled in her abdomen. Penny was the only person Paige shared such a bond with, and now she wondered what that said about her. Had her sister been right? Were the shields she’d erected after losing their mother and then Nana keeping her from getting close to anyone besides her twin?
The DJ announced the buffet, veering the conversation toward food. Late afternoon sunlight streamed into the hotel’s banquet room through an array of French doors lining the outside wall. Paige’s heels clicked on the marble floor as Troy and Trevor escorted her to the food line, the low hum of the panties keeping her on edge, waiting, wondering how far they’d take this in public. So far, the sensations remained a pleasant but distracting hum against her labia. Add in the shifting of the plug against those hypersensitive tissues and there was just enough titillation to keep her in a state of hyperawareness. Much more and she would refuse to allow anyone to hold her accountable for her actions.
“I like your friends,” she commented as Troy stabbed a tender piece of rib roast and placed it on the plate she held out.
“So do we. Everyone will head to the yacht in a little while. Except Jackson and Julie, who will take off for their undisclosed honeymoon destination.”
“What?” she returned in mock surprise. “We’re not all joining in on the honeymoon?”
“She’s caught on quick.” Dr. Dax Hayes’ amused voice came from behind Trevor.
Paige didn’t realize she’d spoken aloud and her face warmed, but she didn’t let that stop her from turning and smiling at the physician, intending to prove she could hold her own with these people. “It’s been sink or swim since these two bought me at an auction. Swimming is much more fun than sinking.”
“I’ll bet,” Dax drawled, his green eyes alight with approval that Paige basked in.
“Don’t encourage her, Dax.” Trevor yanked on her hair, drawing her scowl. “We have our hands full as it is.”
With her plate filled with mouth-watering entrees, Paige opted to ignore them to appease the swift rise of the one hunger she still had control over. The other was a lost cause.
* * *
“Don’t fret, Paige,” Sandie said, laughing. “You’ll get used to it, and us.”
I’m not so sure about that. Paige looked down at her bare breasts and away from the other four women relaxing on lounges alongside hers who appeared unconcerned with their topless state. The day had warmed up enough to change into shorts after the wedding, but as soon as Zach had sailed them out of port, the men wasted no time divesting the women of their shirts before sauntering off the top deck to play a round of poker in the gathering room below. The light, tangy ocean breeze brushed across her skin in a tantalizing caress, her nipples reacting from the exposure without her consent. Even though Troy had turned off the vibrating panties an hour ago, her tender labia still throbbed from the soft pulsations and her pussy remained damp with swollen need.
She struggled to remain focused on the view, but caved and glanced their way again when curiosity got the better of her. “Do you guys do this often?”
“What? Get naked in front of each other?” Krista’s smile reached her light blue eyes. “Not a lot, maybe once a month the guys try to get everyone together. In case you haven’t noticed yet, they’re a tight-knit group. For them, our gatherings are as much about spending time with their friends as they are to indulge in their kinks.”
Hope, who lay next to Paige, reached over and poked her on the shoulder. “Admit it. There’s nothing like getting naked outdoors, especially when you have that and our guys as a view.” She waved her hand toward the glistening sheen of blue water lapping in a steady rhythm against the hull of the rocking boat.

Alessa sat up and pushed back her long, strawberry-blonde hair. “The ocean’s always nice, but I’ll take looking at any of those guys without their shirts over it anytime.”
Except for Paige, they answered Alessa’s lustful sigh with nods and smiles of agreement. Since she’d never been given that privilege, she couldn’t concur. Hell, she hadn’t even viewed her own guys’ chests yet. Whoa! Back track that. It wouldn’t do to think of them as her guys, not even for a day.
