Sweet Revenge - Page 35

With that Ted opened his robe to reveal how ready he was. His cock was standing at full attention, as if he’d been waiting for me.

“I guess great minds think alike,” I said.

I sank down on top of him.

One Month Later

“Take care! Thanks for coming!”

Ted escorted the last of his guests out the door and closed it behind them. I breathed a huge sigh of relief. I was so glad to have the house back nice and quiet. Even if there was a heap of a mess everywhere around me. I’d need to contact the cleaning crew that I now had basically on speed dial to clean the place up after the lavish, crazy party that Ted had decided to throw on a random Tuesday.

It was becoming almost a daily thing. I’d come home from working and running the family business to find Ted and several of his friends (or sometimes dozens like tonight) having a party or at the very least a loud, crazy poker game that had spun out of control and was now more like several frat boys messing up the house.

“Wow, that was a good one,” Ted said bouncing back into the kitchen and grabbing a beer from the fridge.

“Another party?” I asked. “We just had a huge party Saturday. And last Wednesday.”

“So?” Ted asked.

“So? I’m getting a bit tired of coming home to chaos. I would like to have some peaceful nights at home every now and then.”

“What? There is no fun in that. We aren’t a couple of old fogies.”

“No, but I do have a business to run. Did it ever occur to you that I’m a bit tired at the end of the day and would just like some peace?”

Ted glared at me. “Really? Well, excuse the hell out of me. I didn’t realize what an inconvenience I had become. It must be nice having a place to go to everyday when everything in the world you touch turns to gold while everything in my life turns to shit!”

Ted was yelling now. I’d never heard him raise his voice like that. I thought he might just be drunk, but he didn’t seem that out of control of his faculties. He actually seemed like he was perfectly lucid.

“I’m sorry,” I said. “I’m sorry that things aren’t working out well for you with your business, but that is no reason to party every night when I’m paying for it.”

I started walking towards the living room and Ted stood in my way.

“Don’t you ever try to imply that I’m some kind of damn freeloader. I’ll knock you across the damn room. Got me? I work damn hard. I’m trying like hell pounding the pavement and trying to get my business off the ground. Do you know what it’s like to have the door slammed shut in your face every single day? DO YOU!”

Ted’s finger was in my face. The fingers of his other hand were digging into my flesh now.

“You’re hurting me…” I groaned in pain.

Ted laughed. “You’re hurting me. And you are too fucking stupid to realize it! Never disrespect me or my friends again. You’ll be sorry as shit if you do.”

He threw my arm down, grabbed his beer, and walked through the living room and down the stairs towards the billiard room where he spent most of his nights recently.

I stood there stunned in silence. What had just happened? Ted had hurt my arm and threatened me. His voice sounded so cold, so evil. Like it wasn’t even him.

It was then that I began to think I might have made a big mistake.

But I had no way of knowing how right I was.

Chapter Twelve

Ted

After our little fight I cooled off a bit in the billiard room where I drank some whiskey and shot some pool. It was a great way to relieve some steam and just reflect on things. So far, our marriage had been going nice and smooth. I did what I wanted and I treated her well. So far, she’d been fine with it. We did fun things together and we had regular, mind blowing sex.

But now suddenly, she had a problem with me and my partying ways. I was not going to live like some stiff. I had to have some fun. She had her goofy company to pretend to run. Hell, anyone with a grain of salt for brains knew that she had no idea what she was doing and if it wasn’t for all the people who actually ran that company it would have gone into the ground quickly.

Recently I’d befriended a few of these fellas and started hanging out on the golf course with them. They were cool, old cats and they had actually taken me under their wing. I was learning a lot about the company, the business, and what it took to run it successfully. You had to be ruthless, and you had to be absolutely brutal sometimes.
