Married to the Mob (Bianchi Crime Family 1) - Page 23

Nero and I chuckle as he gently moves the phone out of his face. “It’s the same one he has on his.”

She whips her head back at me with her mouth open. I just shrug. I have nothing to hide when it comes to my attraction to my wife. Well, I have some things to hide, but I don’t think she’s ready to know how deep my obsession goes. “What can I say? I love having you as mine.”

“Same here,” she says, kissing my cheek before hurrying to everyone else.

Nero grabs my hand and shakes it. “Congrats, Dom. She’s perfect for you.”

“I know.” There’s a sense of peace that fills me now that she’s my wife.

“Come on, Giuseppe made a huge lunch.”

“I’m not even hungry.”

“Not for food. Soon, after lunch, sneak her ass to bed.”

“If I do, you won’t see me for the rest of the day until tomorrow. I’ve waited too long for her.”

“I bet. I don’t have an obsession, but I’ve stuck to your father’s edict as well. Bianchi blood runs deep. I’m waiting for my future bride. It’s a pity that I haven’t found her yet.”

“You will one day.”

Chapter Seven

Aria

I head into the dining room with a smile on my face. I’m so happy that it’s hard to even explain. Domani is crazy about me. When I open the door, I’m surprised by the extravagant display. “Where’s Domani?”

“He’s coming right behind me.”

“Wow, this is so beautiful.” There are flowers from the wedding around the room in large bouquets, and along two walls are large tables covered with white tablecloths and a full array of food in a magnificent display.

Hands slide around my waist and I smile, tilting my head back as Domani kisses the crown of my head. “Will this do, my queen?”

“It’s wonderful.”

“Everyone.” The room becomes silent at my husband’s voice. “Thank you for putting this together for my bride and myself with little to no time. I am grateful and pleased to present my queen, my wife, Aria Bianchi.” The family and staff clap loudly as Nero whistles and Luigi snaps pictures. My attention is drawn to the other door as it opens, and our chef comes in with another cart. On it is a beautiful three-layer cake. It’s not the wedding cake we ordered, but it’s still incredible.

Domani helps me to my seat, pushing my chair in and kissing my cheek before taking the seat next to me. “Congratulations to you both! Cheers to the power couple!” Everyone cheers.

“Thank you. Please, let us eat before our food grows cold.” Domani and I are the first to be served and then the rest follow. The waitstaff depart as we enjoy our meal as if it’s just another family Sunday dinner.

“So, Niccolò, I don’t know much about you, but it’s nice to finally meet you,” I say, finally speaking to my brother-in-law for the first time. Just like Nero, Niccolò looks so much like Domani. They are all handsome. While they are all over six feet tall, Niccolò has more of a runner’s build. The other two look more intimidating. Nero’s enormous, but it’s the power in Domani’s carriage that makes him appear the fiercest. It turns me on so much to be the wife of an animal in a gentleman’s suit.

“Sorry, Aria. I should have been here sooner. I’m glad I didn’t miss the wedding.”

“I’m pleased that you could make it, brother.” Domani smiles at his brother who looks like he’s concerned about something. The slight upturn of Domani’s lips seems to settle him. Could he be afraid of his brother? No? Maybe of disappointing him. That’s definitely something I could see. Niccolò hardly speaks unless spoken to throughout the meal as the rest of the family talk about all matters.

As lunch wraps up, the staff come in to clean, and we stand to cut our cake. Our hands touch, slicing through the cake, and my pulse amplifies like lightning has struck, but it’s just his hand on mine. “I can’t wait until my hands are all over you, amore mia.”

“Neither can I.” I kiss his cheek, and suddenly he releases the cake knife and sets it on the table. Cupping my face, he drops his mouth down on mine, returning my innocent kiss with one of pure need. His fingers dig into my hair until he’s gripping the base of my skull. I can’t stop from throwing my arms around his neck, teasing the tips of his hair.

Cheers erupt around the room. “I expect we’ll be having some grandbabies within the year,” his mother says.

“Can we have some cake before you two get started?” my father remarks, causing me to blush and release my hold on Domani. He does the same, but the smile on his face says more than words can. It’s a promise that we’ll finish what we started soon. The staff serves the slices, while Domani hands me mine. We share a piece, feeding each other. I can’t eat another bite, so we make small talk when all I want to do is have my husband work my body out over and over again.
