I pulled away, forcing her gaze on mine as I assessed her. Looking down at her flat tummy, the knowledge that she’d been hornier than ever for me these last few weeks, the idea that we’d never had protected sex, well…ever.
My heart thundered at the possibility of my wife, round, ripe, and pregnant with my child, flipped a primal switch in my heart. “Are you saying what I think you’re saying, baby girl?”
She nodded, happy tears flooding her eyes. “We’re going to have a baby.” She rubbed the curve of her soft tummy. “Trick or treat, Daddy.”
