Buying Love - Page 14

I walk around him and look out the door. He’s not in the hallway, so he must be downstairs. Fuck him. “He’s talking shit. He didn’t learn the first time?”

“Whoa! You really punched the fucker.” He shakes his head, but I don’t regret it one bit. I should have done worse, knowing that she had to put up with that bastard on a regular basis. If he’s willing to say that shit in front of me and my driver then he’s probably done much more than I’ll have to ask her about.

“He insulted my wife,” I inform him, crossing my arms and daring him to give me a hard time. There’s no way in hell, I’d let anyone talk to her like that.

“I’m not saying he didn’t deserve it. I’m just surprised.”

“Yeah, well you’ll be seeing a new side of me.”

He claps my back and looks around the apartment. Turning his attention back to me, he says, “I like it. Now, are we almost ready to go? The jet is getting fueled as we speak.”

“Sure. Let me see what Jenna needs help with.” I walk into the bedroom and see her bent over in her closet. I creep up behind her and grab her waist, sending her jumping back. We both tumble to the ground as she screams.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Shit, sorry. I guess I’m not used to all of this,” she explains, trying to get up only to stumble back onto my lap. I groan because her round ass bounces on my dick, stiffening it further.

“Are you okay? Are you hurt?” I ask, hating that I scared her.

“No, not at all,” she giggles out.

“What’s so funny?” I ask.

“Even with us tumbling to the floor, your cock is still very hard.” She giggles some more while rubbing her ass all over my throbbing groin.

I help stand us up before I embarrassingly come on myself. “Well, that’s why I came behind you. Your sexy ass was sticking up in the air, tempting me like a red cloth to a bull,” I growl, holding her in my arms with my lips on hers for a quick kiss. I can’t stop kissing her. It’s like breathing for me.

“Sorry, I’ll keep my ass tucked in for now on.”

“You couldn’t if you tried. So I’m in here to see if you’re almost done.”

“I am. I already informed the movers what to take. I’m packing my clothes right now. I don’t have a lot, but these suitcases should be okay. It’s one of the few nice things I have left.” They weren’t an expensive kind, but they looked brand new. “I know they’re nothing special or anything, but it’s the first time I get to use them.”

“I don’t care if they’re ragged. If they help get the job done, they work for me,” I explain. Despite liking them, she’s embarrassed about the quality. I should reassure her that I grew up poor, but I doubt she’d believe me.

I wait for her to zipper up each of the suitcases, then I take the two large ones out of the room, while she wheels out the tiny one. “Ah, so that’s what you two were doing. I thought maybe you guys couldn’t keep your hands off each other again,” Jack teases.

Jenna is quick to respond, “No, we don’t want an audience.”

“Good. It’s not something I’d care to see.”

“That’s great because I’d rip your damn eyeballs out. Can we get this show on the road? Jenna and I have a lot of things to do before I return to work.”

We leave the apartment with the movers to take everything that’s not furniture or appliances. Jenna only wants her books and her trinkets and shit. The rest can rot here. I’ll give her much nicer furnishings.

The landlord is nowhere to be seen and it better stay that way if he wants to live.

We board the flight with the same stewardess on board. “Jenna, do you want anything to drink?”

“Just some water.”

“Same for me.”

“Yes, Mr. Harrison. And you sir?” she asks Jack.

“I’ll have a rum and Coke please.”

Once she’s gone, I cock my brow at him. She’s polite, but not overly and definitely not flirtatious. Jack smirks and adds, “She’s been warned that your wife will be accompanying you.”

“Makes sense.”

Jenna leans over, and with clenched teeth, she bites out, “What? Are you bothered when you don’t have women fawning over you all the time?” I accidentally made her jealous, and fuck if I don’t love it.

“The opposite. I ignored her the first time. You don’t have to worry. It’s in the contract,” I remind her.

“Oh yeah,” she nods. “Well, if you’ll excuse me. I’m going to read.”

“Damn, double nerd alert,” Jack calls out.

“Says the geek,” Jenna returns. I flip him off and take her hand, bringing it to my lips. Her soft tiny hands feel so little in mine that I want to wrap her in my arms and protect her from everyone, but she shows that she can handle herself from my brother’s jokes. I kiss it and gently set it down so she can get back to reading.
