Reckless Love (Cowboys & Angels 7) - Page 56

His hands went to my hips, and he let out a low growl before he whispered my name.

“Scarlett.”

A wider smile broke out over my face when he opened his beautiful blue eyes and looked at me.

Slowly lifting, I used my hand to guide him inside of me. Working him in, I dropped my head back and moaned. Once I had myself fully seated, I rocked back and forth. His body rubbing against my clit was heaven.

“Fuck, yes,” Trevor hissed, making me look down at him.

“Baby,” he grunted as he lifted his hips. “You horny?”

I nodded. “I told you…it seems to happen a lot now because of the pregnancy.”

He winked. “I know exactly how to take care of that then.”

Lifting up before I pushed back down, I made both of us moan.

“So do I,” I purred as I dropped my hands to his chest and started to ride him. It didn’t take long for me to come. Trevor carefully moved me and got on top where he made love to me again, kissing me softly on my mouth, chin, neck, and down my chest. When he moved his lips back up to my ear and whispered that he loved me, I came. I knew he was coming right along with me when his breath turned quick and hard.

Trevor stayed inside of me long after he’d finished. Both of us staring into each other’s eyes. We didn’t need to say anything, I saw it all in his eyes and he in mine.

“Move in with me, Scarlett.”

My eyes widened in shock. “What?”

“I can’t stand being away from you. I want to wake up with you in my arms each morning and I want to fall asleep with you in my arms after I make love to you.”

Swallowing hard, I searched for my voice.

“Trevor, I don’t know. I have to get up early to be at the courthouse and…”

“Quit.”

With my hands on his chest, I pushed him back so I could get a better look at him.

Letting out a gruff laugh, I said, “Trevor, I need my insurance! I need a job.”

“Work here, for me on the ranch. I can cover the cost of the baby.”

I rolled my eyes. “Okay, yeah, you can cover the cost of the baby’s birth? Trevor it will be thousands of dollars. Why do you think I’ve been working so much overtime?”

He smiled. No, actually, he smirked.

“I love how completely innocent you are, Scarlett. It’s one of the things I love about you.”

Frowning, I pushed him harder, making him finally pull out of me. I scooted off the bed and grabbed the blanket to cover up.

“Innocent? I beg your pardon, but I have the estimate of how much this baby is going to cost, and it’s not going to be cheap. Trevor, I need my insurance. I need a job to pay for things like diapers and formula. I’m not going to be dependent on you for those things.”

Trevor climbed out of bed, not even caring that he was still completely naked. He walked to my side and took my hand. My eyes roamed his perfectly toned body. The way his muscles moved felt like a sin. God, he was sexy.

Trevor reached for the blanket and pulled it off of me.

“Let’s take a shower.”

“That’s not going to wash away this conversation.”

“Nope, it’s not, but it will feel good to shower. Let me wash your body while I explain that money is not a problem.”

“Oh, really?”

He laughed again. “Nope.”

“You’re not the least bit worried about the cost?” I asked as Trevor reached into his large, walk-in shower and turned it on. Water rained down from the faucets on the ceiling. I was in love with his shower and honestly wouldn’t mind using it every day. Or soaking in the giant soaker tub next to it.

“I’m always worried about the cost of things. I don’t throw my money away, and that’s why I’m worth a few million.”

He pulled me into the shower, and I stood there, staring at him as the water fell onto me.

“What did you just say?”

He leaned closer, placing his lips on my neck and gently sucking while his hands grabbed my ass. I dropped my head back when he pulled my body against his. He was hard again. My goodness, this man’s stamina was going to keep me fit during this pregnancy.

“Damn, you feel so good,” he whispered against my skin, causing my body to erupt in goosebumps. My mind went fuzzy, and for some reason I didn’t care what we had just been talking about. Not when Trevor lifted my leg and slowly pushed back inside of me, deliciously slow.

“God, help me, I’m not going to be able to walk for a week,” I panted as he moved in and out of me, this time at a faster pace.
