Always You (Adair Family 3) - Page 133

We had waited a long time.

But the thought of sharing my wedding day with my brother actually made me emotional. Tears stung my nose. “I’ll talk to Mackennon, but I love the idea.”

We’d barely gotten home and through the front door when Arro jumped me.

She’d been eyeing me in the car all the way from Thane’s, and I knew that look.

We’d celebrated Thane and Regan’s engagement with a family dinner, ordering takeout and calling Brodan on FaceTime to fill him in. He was finishing up filming and promised to be home soon. I wouldn’t hold him to it. Brodan Adair had gone from being the biggest homebody I’d ever known to a man who acted like he was being chased from Ardnoch by the devil himself. At least his uncharacteristic bar brawling had stopped.

He seemed happy enough for his brother, though, and when we hung up, we fell into chaotic conversation, juggling several subjects at once in a way I’d grown used to as part of this family.

The joy of the evening had aroused Arro.

She’d caught my eye across Thane’s dining table, and I knew that heated expression and what I had to look forward to when we got home.

Nothing quite prepared me for Arro’s impatience, however, and before I knew it, I was sprawled on the hallway floor, still fully dressed, being ridden hard.

“Fuck,” I gritted out between clenched teeth as Arro ground down on me, her hands on my shoulders for purchase. I gripped her hips to feel the motion of her frantic undulations. Jesus Christ, this woman would be the death of me. And what a way to go. “Take off your top,” I commanded harshly.

Her expression said she was reluctant to slow down, but Arro quickly threw off her light jacket, top, and bra, and I sat up to take a hard nipple in my mouth.

Arro gasped at the movement, arching into me as I sucked and laved, taking turns on each perfect breast. She began to move on me again, and I growled around her nipple with pleasure.

“Oh, God.” Her fingers bit into my shoulders as she braced her knees on either side of my hips and gave me all she had.

“Fuck …” I released her breast, but only to crush her mouth beneath mine as she tried to wrench my very soul from my body. The woman could move. We broke apart, panting for breath as I held her gaze. Her lids sat low over her eyes, desire turning them a darker shade of blue. “That’s it,” I murmured thickly against her lips. “Take it, darlin’. Take it all.”

“I’m coming,” she gasped. “I’m coming!”

“Come hard on me, Arro,” I growled, my hold on her tightening. “Give me everything.”

Her loud groan of release echoed off the walls as her inner muscles squeezed around me in fisted, tight waves that drew my balls up. I bellowed with unearthly fucking satisfaction as my release flooded into her.

Holding her close, rubbing soothing circles on her naked back, I waited until she’d come down from her high before I made a move to lift us off the floor.

Arro clamped her legs down around mine to stop me.

Amused, I brushed her hair off her face and asked, “Do you want to stay here all night?”

She shook her head, chasing my fingers with her lips. I cupped her face in my hands, loving the way she bussed into my touch. “I want to ask you something.”

“All right?”

She caressed my face with her eyes as she said, “Regan and Thane would like us to have a double wedding.”

Wondering if she was conflicted about her answer, I said, “I’m sure if you don’t want to, they’ll be okay with that.”

“I do want to,” she hurried to say. “But only if you want to. I don’t want you to feel like our wedding was hijacked. I will not be one of those brides who takes over everything. This is our wedding.”

Grinning, I cuddled her closer. “Arrochar Adair, if it were up to me, I’d march you to the nearest justice of the peace and have them marry us on the spot. All I care about is being your husband and you being my wife. When I proposed, I didn’t care how we made that come about … but do you know what? I think getting married alongside your brother and Regan sounds exactly right for us.”

Her eyes brightened with happy tears. “Family,” she murmured.

“That’s it. It’s all that matters.” I grinned at her mischievously. “And it’ll give this village more to gossip about, what with the complicated family tree we’re creating.”
