I actually shudder at the idea. “I don’t want to think about that right now, thank you very much.”
He bellows out another hearty laugh, delving his hand into his cigar case and pulling out huge Cuban cigar. He offers it to me, but I shake my head. “Don’t mind if I do?”
“Go ahead.” I may not smoke cigars, but I must admit, I do like the smell.
“So, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit today? Please tell me it’s because you want to star in movies again. Everyone misses you. And your fanbase is demanding that you star again, especially after Lost In Time.
It took a while to complete that movie because of my ongoing divorce battle, but I stuck with it because Audrey was enthralled by the whole idea. It also helped that she was there for part of it, and even took time off to be with me while I was on set. It amazed me how different everyone was with her compared to Kendra. Nothing but smiles and laughter were heard by all the crew involved. Everyone loves her, but then again, who can blame them?
In the end, I shake my head, as I did insist on a break from movie making for a while. Lost In Time was all for Audrey. I’ve been way too busy soaking her up to think about picking up another script again. “Not right now. I’m enjoying married life too much. In any case, I would have gone to my agent for that. No, this is something I really needed to see you about.”
He leans one arm on his desk, raising an eyebrow. “You have me intrigued. Go on.”
I’m beaming from ear to ear, knowing full well this will capture his attention. Why wouldn’t it? What Audrey and I experienced was something of fairytales… something that you usually only ever see on a big screen.
“Well, you see, Iain… I have this amazing idea for a movie…”
