Keeping Grace - Page 32

“Alright, go cool off and meet me here in the afternoon for some dressage. Let’s go in the inside arena, and I’ll lower the mirrors for you. Give Storm a break and grab Stardust.”

“What? But Stardust is so much harder to work with than Storm. Shouldn’t I be practicing on my horse and making sure he is perfect to compete?”

Blake laughed. “That’s because she sucks at dressage. You need to work with a horse that is harder to train so that when you get back on Storm, you really know what you are doing.”

I thought about it for a minute. She wasn’t wrong. “You’re mean. Brilliant, but mean.”

Blake gave Storm a pat, then turned around laughing and made her way to the barn with Liam.

After putting Storm away, I found my most recent contract and sent it off to Thomas. I could relax for a few hours over lunch with Ty and Scott. We ate our sandwiches in the bunkhouse so that afterwards we had the privacy for a quickie before they had to get back out to the field. That’s when I learned nothing was quick with the two of them, and all three of us were going to be late.

“Come to dinner with us in town tonight?” Ty asked me before they left.

“I’d love to.” I leaned up and gave him a light kiss on his lips and quickly shifted away before he pulled me in for more.

Scott grabbed me and kissed me. “Be ready by five thirty. Dress casual.”

I nodded before running off to meet back up with Blake for my afternoon Training.

The dressage session was brutal but now that I understood the reason behind Blake’s cruel training techniques, I was more appreciative of it.

I video chatted with my best friend, Abbey, who helped me pick out the perfect outfit for my date with the guys. My wardrobe was very limited, but I did have a few things that were acceptable. I ended up in a pair of jeans with a cute flowy tank top. I threw on a nicer pair of boots that Caitie, the other female rider at the ranch, lent me.

Abbey was super jealous and excited that I had followed Blake to the ranch and found two men to shower me with attention. But just like always, I wasn’t able to convince her to come see me so she could get away and have some fun. Her boyfriend, Jeff, was very strict and didn’t let her out of the house. I would have loved for Abbey to visit here while I was training. It would have been nice to have Blake, Abbey, and me together again.

When I opened the door at five thirty, my disappointment melted away, and all I could think about was the two drop dead sexy men standing in front of me. Ty was in a black Henley, fresh jeans, and his hair was still damp from his shower. I reached out and teased it with my fingers before I pulled him down for a kiss. I loved running my hands through his hair.

I turned and smiled at Scott in his dark jeans and maroon shirt. It was snug just the way I liked it. If he flexed at all, I feared he was going to rip the shirt in half. He didn’t let me stare for long before he wrapped me up in his arms and kissed me.

Wow, was this a way to start the evening. If they kept kissing me like this, I was going to say no to going out and yes to staying in.

“You ready?” Ty asked when Scott pulled away, leaving me breathless.

I nodded.

“Let’s go,” Scott said, grabbing my hand and leading me to the truck. I slid in the backseat with Scott while Ty drove. “By the way, you look beautiful, peaches.”

My cheeks heated. “You two clean up pretty nice yourselves.”

“We do need to warn you that people in town don’t really know about the Cosland relationships. So, it won’t be the most ideal date, but we wanted to take you out,” Ty said.

I caught his gaze in the rearview mirror.

“So does that mean we have to pretend like we aren’t all together?”

Blake had warned me not to talk about our unique relationships if I ever went to town.

“Well, you can more or less be with one of us, and the other will be the third wheel,” Scott said, smiling.

“Why are you smiling? I feel like this might end up being depressing to not have you both touching me all night.”

“I’m smiling because I get to be your date tonight and asshat gets to be third wheel.” Scott chuckled, and Ty threw his hand behind him and tried to hit Scott.

We all laughed, and Ty concentrated on driving again.

“Okay, then I feel like if this is a real date, then we should be making out in the backseat while our chauffeur drives us to dinner,” I joked.

Ty groaned from the driver’s seat, and I winked at him in the mirror. Licking my lips, I blew him a kiss. It was fun teasing him. I was starting to find out that the more I teased him, the more intense our sex was.

I turned and locked lips with Scott. His tongue tangled with mine, and I didn’t want to stop, even when Ty announced we were almost there. He pulled into a parking lot of a building that looked like an old barn. The neon sign on the roof read The Cotton Jin.

The three of us got out and made our way to the door. Music from inside drifted out as we opened the door and stepped through. Inside, the place was almost completely full.

The sign at the hostess stand said that live music and dancing began at nine. I couldn’t see a dance floor, but while we waited to be seated, Ty leaned over and explained that dinner was served until nine and then tables were moved, and the center became the dance floor.

“Shit.” Scott stiffened beside me. “Change of plans, peaches.” He looked at me. “You’re Ty’s date tonight.”

What?
