Relapse

She disappears down the hall.

I find three curious gazes on me and find myself slightly flustered. “Umm, I fucked my college professor,” the words slip from my lips easily. “Fuck,” I shake my head and peep at the guys, finding them all watching me. “Guess I can’t leave it at that.”

“You surely can’t, sweetheart,” Chase says, leaning forward. The endearment does crazy things to my chest and I refrain from rubbing at it.

Sighing, I lean back in my seat. “I’d like for the record to show that while I may not have been the best in lit, I didn’t fuck my teacher for the grade, I did it because he was hot.” Any time the conversation has come up with others, they always think I was trying to fuck my way to an A, but that was far off base. And I certainly didn’t want anything serious with my professor, since he was a jerk and honestly, not that mature, considering he was in his late thirties. Our relationship was one hundred percent about the sex.

“Go on,” Emmet encourages with a soft smile as he moves into the seat next to Chase. Their shoulders bump slightly, their chairs are so close, but neither man seems to mind.

I lick my lips before getting into the story which isn’t as dramatic as it seems. “Professor Bailey was the professor that everyone in the school always talked about, teachers, students… everyone.” I sit forward slightly. “There’d been rumors that he’d slept with a couple of students but I didn’t hold any real stock in them until I saw him eyeing me in class one day. I thought maybe I was just imagining things, you know. So to see whether or not I was crazy, I wore the shortest and tightest daisy dukes that I could get away with wearing on campus. These were um… more reckless times for me,” I admit when Nathan gives me a look of surprise.

I let out a small laugh. “And I did the oldest trick in the book.”

Chase’s eyes are bright as he watches me. “You dropped your fucking pencil, didn’t you?” he questions.

I can’t help the smirk on my face. “Of course I did.”

“Did he look?” Emmet asks.

I nod. “Of course he did. He asked me to stay after class and the next thing I know I’m bent over his desk.” I don’t mean for the words to come out as crude as they sound but there’s no other way to tell the story.

“How long did it go on before you got caught?” Nathan questions.

“The rest of the semester. I shit you not, the dean walked in on us the day of finals.” I shake my head. “We were… celebrating in his office and apparently the door wasn’t locked.” Which was totally not my fault even though Professor Bailey thought otherwise. “They booted my ass and fired him quicker than I could say it’s all just a misunderstanding. Which of course, I tried to say but his pants around his ankles and my panties on his desk were kind of damning.”

Chase’s shoulders shake as he laughs and Emmet’s eyes hold amusement. I look at Nathan, whose lips are pulled up in a grin.

I brush a strand of hair out of my face. “It was all a blessing in disguise of course, because the only part of college I was meant for, was partying.”

“Damn, I just didn’t go,” Emmet says and I smile at him. As I look at him, I realize he never told me why Chase arrested him. I’m just about to ask when I catch the guys exchanging glances with each other.

“What?” I ask, feeling like I’m being left out of a conversation.

Chase shoots a look at Nathan, who leans forward, placing his elbows on the table as he looks at me.

“We wanted to talk to you about something,” Nathan says, glancing down the hall but the rest of the house is silent. No sight of Grandma or the kids.

“Okay.” I fidget with my hands as I feel my heart start to beat a little quicker. “What did you want to talk about?” I lift my gaze to each one individually but I can’t quite pick up on anything and it’s annoying.

“About us,” Chase says and I turn my gaze to him. “About us dating you, I mean,” he says.

If I thought my heart was already going wild, it starts to go even more out of control now.

“You told me you all knew I’d gone out with each of you,” I say, feeling put on the spot. Chase had also made it clear that they didn’t keep secrets, so I’m pretty sure they all know about the orgasms Emmet and Chase gave me.

“No, no, not-” Nathan shakes his head. “No, we know about that and it’s cool. We’re all grownups here.”

My brow lifts at that and I turn my gaze to Emmet, the most quiet of the group. He’s watching the conversation unfold casually.

“We want to continue to date you,” Chase says bluntly.

My lips part slightly. “All three of you?” I ask, feeling my head start to spin slightly.

“Yes.” I’m surprised when it’s Emmet to speak up this time.

“We’re all interested in you and well…” Chase shrugs. “We don’t mind sharing.”

His words can’t be true. People just aren’t this open about sharing their partner. “Until you want me to pick,” I say, with furrowed brows, because that has to be where this is going. We want to date you, but eventually you’re going to have to pick one of us and let the other two go.
