Falling Hard - Page 11

“Yes,” she sobbed out, choking on her own screams. Fuck. I drove harder, marking her womb with my seed as she clenched out her orgasm all down my cock. It took us a few minutes to catch our breath, but I eventually pulled out of her filled slit and put her shorts in place.

After fixing my own pants, I dragged her into my arms. “Marry me.”

“Yes.”

“Good. Come on. We have some place to go right now.”

“Don’t you have work to do?”

“Nothing that can’t wait. These people get paid good money to keep this place functioning.” I led her out of the office, looking thoroughly fucked. Good. I wanted every asshole to know that she was taken. “Where are your clothes?”

“In the locker room.”

“Okay. Go get changed because it’s not warm enough today for those soaked shorts, and I’m not going to jail.”

“I wore them for you. I’d been waiting in your office when you came in, but hearing what he said, I couldn’t wait any longer.”

“That’s going to get you fucked really good tonight.”

“I hope so.” She hurried off to the locker room while I leaned against the wall and waited. There was no way I’d miss her like I had the many times before. Several of the members greeted me and joked about my smile.

When Erica came back out, I took her hand in mine, pleased that she even had on a light hoodie so we could walk where we wanted to go. It wasn’t far, but parking downtown could really be a pain in the ass and could potentially take longer to get somewhere than if we just walked.

We approached the front to speak with my assistant manager. “Rachael, you’re in charge until I get back.”

“When is that? Next week?” she teased, winking at Erica. Of course everyone had heard my pronouncement, and more than likely those who saw us go into the office knew what we were doing in there.

Scowling, I answered, “In less than two hours. Erica and I will be working all night, so I can play catch-up.”

“You’re the boss. Have fun.” She waved us off, and we headed out toward State Street.

“So we’ll be working all night?” Erica asked as we waited for the light to change.

“Yes. That’s the plan, unless you have something else that you needed to do.”

“I need to call my mother, but other than that, I don’t have anything to do. I didn’t tell you, but she had a boyfriend at the house this morning. I heard them, so I didn’t get a chance to meet him.”

“Ha. You met him already. It’s the guy that was supposedly going to be your fiancé.”

“What?” She laughed so hard she started tearing up. We stopped as soon as we crossed the street so she could catch her breath. “Sorry. It’s just funny how pissed my father is going to be when he finds out that his replacement in the office has replaced him in the bedroom.”

“Damn, I’d love to see his face when he finds out. I bet they are going to keep it a secret for now.”

“I’ll ask my mom when I talk to her.”

“Yeah. When we get back, okay, because I’m going to get caught up while you make some important decisions on our wedding.”

We walked down to Jeweler’s Row on Wabash so she could pick out her engagement ring. The next two hours we spent looking at rings while she tried to talk me out of buying the ring I saw her drooling over. By the end of the trip, we were hungry, so we stopped off at The Grill Room and then to Garrett’s for some Chicago mix popcorn.

“Hey, I saw Wicked here,” Erica said, pointing to the Oriental Theater next to Garrett’s.

“I have never actually been inside there. I don’t know how they can focus with all this popcorn calling them.”

“Me either. Let’s go before I dig into this bag.” She held up the packaged popcorn that we’d bought for the staff.

As soon as we walked in, Rachael and Amber shouted at the same time, “Garrett’s!”

“Here you go, ladies.” She handed them the big bag. “Excuse us. He plans to work me to the bone.”

“Work you on his bone is more like it,” Rachael added under her breath. I nodded and led my wife-to-be to my office.

The rest of the night went smoothly and although I ached to fuck Erica again, I waited until we got home. Her mother took the news well, leaving out my little incident with Danny. He seemed like a good guy as long as he stayed away from my woman.

Chapter 7

Adrian

Three weeks from the day we met, we were finally getting married. I’d fallen more and more in love with her as each day passed, and I learned new, interesting tidbits about my woman, like she really wanted to help her mom open a bakery. I’d already worked with Danny on making it happen.
