"It would, yeah."
"Malcolm Strong!" I squeeze his hand. "Explain."
"Good things come to those who wait."
"I've waited two weeks to see you."
His smile widens as he glances at me. "I know. This first. Then I'll fuck your brains out."
My smile spreads to my ears. What can I say? I'm no longer shy about how much I want sex. And certainly not when it's sex with the man I love, our bodies joining as one, our groans vibrating down each other's necks.
Fuck, now I'm getting distracted.
Mal doesn't turn towards the freeway. He turns left on Ocean, then right on Montana.
No…
This is the residential part of Santa Monica. It's all rows and rows of obscenely expensive houses. Montana itself is flush with stores and restaurants, but everything a few blocks north and south of it is those beautiful homes.

He turns left onto one of the side streets.
We go two blocks, then we slow.
We park.
We park in front an enormous, beautiful blue-and-white house.
I stare at Mal as he turns the car off and undoes his seat belt. He keeps smiling wide.
He keeps that mischievous look in his eyes.
I undo my seatbelt. "Mal, are you…"
"You want me to open your door for you?" He chuckles.
"No, I…" I reach for the door and press it open. "Are we…"
He gets out of the car.
I do too.
He doesn't make a move for the trunk. His suitcase must be in there. If this is what I think it is…
Or maybe he stopped home first.
He does smell suspiciously like soap and shampoo.
"I almost forgot how much I love it when you're wrecked with anticipation." He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls my body into his.
