Turning back to the living room there appeared a man dressed in a white suit with a red tie. He had a nice smile on his fair skinned countenance. Neatly manicured his hands seemed almost like that of doll that had been sitting on a store shelf untouched for years. In his left hand were a bouquet of long stemmed red rose freshly plucked from the fields. That invigorating scent of roses and green leaves triggered Gabby’s dormant allergies.
“Oh my if I would have known you were allergic I would have brought something different. “He spoke in an almost robotic monotone as if he were programmed what to say and when.
“Who are you? How did you get in here? “This was one of those moments when Gabby wished one of her newsy neighbors would come to the door. Where was Priscilla when she needed her.
“Gabby I am your hope and your future. I come in peace and happiness. “Stretching his free hand to her she a radiating heat ebbed from his flesh.
“I don’t know who you are. Please get away before I call security. Leave now. “Gabby hollered as she walked over to the security console by the door.
“Please Gabby your mortal ways have no effect on me. How do you think I got in here after all? I mean these place is like a maximum security prison with all the security. “Getting closer to her the radiating heat from his body burning the outlying layers of her skin.
Tapping into the security console her pudgy fingers pressing the speaker button repeatedly she cried for Byron’s help but there was nothing but dead air. A robotic voice played back saying that all circuits were busy please try back in a few minutes. Opening the lock on her door she practically burned her fingers as the gold knob turned a bright crimson. Banging on the door in a last attempt hoping that someone out there would hear her seemed to be hopeless at this time.
“Come child. You shall be happier soon. Follow me. Please it’s for the best. “His emotionless pitch was the last thing she heard as her own body appeared to have no sensation in it.
Every muscle in her turned to jelly. She couldn’t move or feel anything. It was as if she too were having one of those strokes or attacks brought on by alien force. Soon she too would be like that once famous District Attorney. The only difference is her story wouldn’t make the headlines since she was just an average fired school teacher. A school teacher with no future no love life and no one to care for her. The entire room swam around her in a sea of white clouds as felt her consciousness fade away.
Chapter 5
What seemed hours past were mere minutes in the realm of space travel her kidnaper said as he hovered over her in the back seat of his car. The seats in this car were quite interesting to Gabby they were almost lifelike as if they were made out of actual flesh. When she rubbed her fingers over the beige surface it was as if she could feel it breathing almost as if the seats and everything in this vehicle were alive with a full heart beat and soul. In fact, as he gazed at her looking wondering if she would do any sort of resentment she could hear the clamorous sound of a human heart beat. Its thunderous pitch resonated in her eardrums almost as boisterous as a passing summer storm that was only miles away.
Making this matter even more bizarre was they appeared to be floating in midair and there was no one in the front seat. He the man from her apartment was wearing this pointy black hat that reminded Gabby of those dunce caps they would put on kids back in the day when they were considered extremely unintelligent. From an educators view she truly hated those things and what they resembled. How dare an educator use one of those on a child and make them feel like they were nothing more than an idiot. That being said she wondered why this man was wearing one sure he was a bit off and he invaded her privacy and somehow managed to kidnap her from her home he seemed a far cry from totally oblivious.
All her curiosity fled from her body with the swiftness of a tornado when she noticed his pants were half undone. She could see the peak of his dark pubic hair peeking through his white shorts. His now rumbled tee shirt one she hadn’t recalled him wearing was tossed aside on the floor amidst a sea of fast food wrappers. Until now she didn’t’ realize that the entire vehicle smelled like a weeks’ worth of cheese burgers and French fries. In the pile she saw a purple condom box magnum plus and it was opened. Her worst fears started to flood through her as her anxiety fueled her questioning mind. Was she violated and didn’t even know it? Had he made any attempts to seduce her and she gave in after he drugged her. Somehow as much as that seemed it could have happened deep down in her deepest thoughts looking at his aqua blue eyes and soft skin he just didn’t have the words rapist written on him. He was a man of many things mystery, secrets and weirdness but doing something against someone’s will wasn’t on that list. In fact, she even expected somehow that maybe he was only giving into something she always wanted subliminally.
